TVOI was honored seeing all the dedicated patriots who attended this rally Feb. 21, 2015. It gives us great hope for the future, knowing how many care as much as we do. Greg Pruett has done an outstanding job standing up for the citizens of Idaho for all these years. Proof of how many people are truly concerned about their Second Amendment Rights and Greg’s dedicated work on all our behalf. The rally was a great success and as you can easily tell there were Many more people who attended than what our Idaho mainstream media reported. (They well know who they are…….)

President, Greg Pruett:
‘To all my family and friends who have supported our group over the years, today is the biggest event we have held.
We are meeting at the Center on the Grove at 3:30 in Boise and marching up to the Capitol Building for a few speeches and petition signings in support of Constitutional Carry or HB 89.
Please join us. Bring your entire family and be a part of a great movement sweeping the country.’
Dear Speaker Bedke and Representative Loertscher,
I understand that House bill 89 is currently being held in committee. There was some rumor that it was competing with an NRA bill. Further inquiry revealed that this is untrue. This is a very simple concept that Idaho could get in front of and become a trendsetter. Currently there are five states that have constitutional carry and one that has implemented partial CC and is moving in the direction of full CC.
Vermont has had Constitutional Carry since the nation’s founding in 1791, they never enacted any law banning the right to discreetly bear arms. Montana enacted Constitutional Carry in 1991, for all areas outside city limits (99.4% of the state), and is working on the rest. Alaska enacted Constitutional Carry in 2003. Texas enacted Constitutional Carry “light” in 2007 as the “Motorist Protection Act,” freeing people to carry in their vehicles, and to and from their vehicles and their homes, land or business. Arizona got full Constitutional Carry in 2010, and the world did not end as predicted. Wyoming enacted Constitutional Carry for residents in 2011. Point in fact, the Teton County Sheriff in Wyoming who was opposed to constitutional carry because he feared greater danger for his deputies has come out and admitted that his fears were unfounded. He now admits he has no issues with it.
In every case where the natural right to carry firearms proliferates, crime is reduced. This is a hard and fast statistic that I know you’re aware of.
Certainly by now you have been given plenty of other relevant statistics and arguments but the simple fact is that the right to self-defense and its concomitant right to have the means for that defense is a God-given, natural right, not really a constitutional one. It is only the responsibility of those who formulate constitutions and statutes to enshrine in those documents protection for that God-given, natural right, thus the moniker “Constitutional Carry”. This, in fact is an opportunity for you to honor the oath you took to support the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Idaho.
Please move this bill out of committee and onto the floor and give our representatives and senators the opportunity to vote on it. I have copied this e-mail to many who are watching and waiting to see our representatives and senators do the right thing.
Thank you for your consideration in this important matter,
We had a gun rally today and responsible gun owners didn’t have a shootout and they didn’t commit crimes. The guns didn’t jump out of holsters and start shooting innocent people. The anti-gunners are going to be shocked.
Thanks to all of you who took time out of your busy lives to make it down to the Capitol.
A special thanks to all our guest speakers. Mr. Traubel gave an excellent talk as someone who has been in law enforcement. Rep. Scott is a champion of Constitutional Carry and we are happy to have her on board. Alexandria, our attorney, is a vault of knowledge and a great ally to our organization.’

TVOI had to be transferred to a private server from GoDaddy in Feb. 2015 when this was first posted. It published just fine but shortly afterward was badly damaged during the transfer. This post was one of over 700 badly damaged and corrupted during the transfer.
As you can see, it’s now repaired. Thanks for understanding. We hope you enjoy it!
We can be found under TVOI News on facebook. Thank you.
