Sadly, too many people believe faked news too often. I don’t like Facebook anyway and I have boycotted them for years. Why should just one man be worth $50 billion, while our nation will go bankrupt again in 2 weeks? Why not break up these giants, like we (the people) did to AT&T?

Let’s say Russia is still Communist. Pretending they are, wouldn’t they be arranging a pro-immigrant protest not an anti-one? Same with the Trump nonsense- of all the candidates Russia could want as US President, wouldn’t Trump be their least choice? And, I can’t understand how news outlets are getting away with this stuff- sure, I can see slanted opinions, yellow journalism- but outright made up entire events? Maybe examples like this here will actually have the opposite effect and people will start to figure out that everything they read is a lie?

A conspiracy theory guy – Eric Hufschmidt, who hollers about the “jews” being behind everything believes that we never landed on the Moon- the whole thing was made up. Now, people can laugh, but to just imagine to yourself for a moment: what IF we didn’t? Personally I do believe that in fact we did land on the Moon, but I like the idea that someone is questioning a common belief. That is something that some people have to train themselves actively to do. About instilled beliefs, thoughts and opinions- a lot of people simply parrot whatever the media is pushing, and these people can’t accept that these opinions are not really their own, not individual ideas, but promoted propaganda. It’s not easy prying people out of their comfortable positions.
“The reason that you find it impossible to forget certain incidents and circumstances of life is that you have allowed your mind to go over and over these incidents and thus to make the impression upon the brain so deep that it has become a lasting one. Each review deepens the impressions and makes them more and more indelible. For filing information permanently in the mind this is the proper process”. Source: “Miller’s Mind Training for Children, Book 2
of 3, by William Emer Miller” Chapter “The Value of Forgetting”. (imagine what hearing and seeing the same commercials, phrases in the news, key words and internet headlines will do to the brain)

We are slowly and surely being brainwashed by television, internet and other outlets by key phrases, words, thoughts and we pay no attention to it. In fact, even if one disagrees with the “thought” in the programming one cannot help but be brainwashed if the same keys are simply repeated. The people are trained with this false dichotomy: anti-immigration is evil, racist, nazi. Trump is a racist nazi and a fascist. When one’s mind is already made up facts don’t matter, so don’t bother presenting them.

The people will read these phony baloney tales on Daily Beast and others, figure out (hopefully) they are entirely concocted out of thin air, and then their narrative will be broken, and healing will begin. ONE day, each person will be confronted with the truth.

Oh- in case anyone’s wondering what the cure for the brainwashing is depicted in that chapter “Value of Forgetting” it is: “To forget means to get-for. You must get some other thought or picture into your mind in place of it. Do not waste time trying to force thoughts or pictures from your mind. Get some other picture or thought in its place as quickly as possible”

nifty, eh? In case you wish to download that book (supposedly for children) it is at Gutenberg dot org and free. “Miller’s Mind Training for Children, Book 2”.

PS- Vicky, elderly residents of a nursing home in Florida have passed away due to the heat, this is not the result of winds blowing down lines but power companies CUTTING OFF POWER TO MILLIONS of residents in Florida. Ostensibly it was to “prevent fires”. Remember I asked earlier on another comment what’s going on with all of these strange power outages, like the outage last year that hit SF, NY and LA simultaneously? I believe these are tests. They used the hurricane as an excuse to test their power outage scenarios with their Smart Grid technology.

By the way, if you want your Smart Meter removed just write your utility (email is ok, that’s how I did it) and alert them that their meter interferes with licensed equipment. That is what I did- I haven’t done it YET in this new place (shame shame)- by law they must remove the “offending transmitter”. You need not supply your “license number” (quotes intentional)

Smart meters transmit using Part 15, Part 17 of FCC guidelines, these are unlicensed bands- usually around 900MHz but that’s not important- the law is that if unlicensed equipment interferes with licensed equipment, the FCC demand they remove offending equipment, stop transmitting. All Smart Meters work on the unlicensed bands. So, get to writing your utilities!

Thank you Vicky. I would not have heard of the cockamamie Russia protest in Daily Beast otherwise.

    Signed, your “dedicated reader”… K
